When your procurement team has a broader pool of quality applicants to choose from, you’ll have more leverage in negotiation and gain a broader view of the options that are out there. Open-ended answers and questions that lead to paragraph-based responses can add unnecessary time to the review process. The RFP process in general is at risk of being out-of-date, so the most time-consuming part may be the best place to start.
